The first GCLoad AMI is now available in the new Sao Paulo AWS Region (sa-east-1). To celebrate the establishment of this new region we've made available our 500VU AMI (ami-a231eebf) for free until the 3rd of January 2012! Make your website sweat, happy testing!

"Free" means that no additional charges (other than the usual EC2 AWS charges) apply. You still have to pay for the EC2 instance + traffic you'll generate while performing your loadtest.

From today the GCLoad premium AMI instances are available to all customers.

We've just deployed version 4.6-S to the AWS us-west-2 region. Currently only available to customers with site licenses and will become generally available to all customers from the 28th of November.

We've published new AMIs based on Proxy Sniffer version 4.6-S in all Amazon EC2 regions.

In order to take advantage of the upgraded AMIs you'll first have to upgrade your local copy of Proxy Sniffer to version 4.6-S as well. If you're using the free edition you can download the latest build from here: http://www.proxy-sniffer.com/download_en.html#freeEdition.

We've updated all our AMIs to support Proxy-Sniffer version 4.5-F. This is mainly a bugfix release, there are no major functional improvements.

From today AMIs running Proxy Sniffer 4.5-F are available in the AWS ap-northwest-1 region which equates to Japan.

All our AMIs in all regions have been updated to support Proxy Sniifer version 4.5.

Some of the new features include changes to better support auto-refreshing webpages (as used by many airlines or other booking sites) and ability to edit header and content of an HTTP request.
